Annotations & Elucidations Poll Within The Poll

We lead today with the new Rasmussen poll which shows Republican Bob McDonnell expanding his lead over Democrat Creigh Deeds in Virginia's gubernatorial campaign, from eight percentage points to nine. The polling was done after McDonnell's thesis controversy and, in what may be the most important number in the poll, 49 percent say the "issue" is not important. The campaign, always in the national spotlight, is getting increasing visability as and Cal Thomas report. Meanwhile, the president persists in generating hero worship among our country's little ones.
