Del. Bob Marshall's candidacy for the U.S. Senate is getting more public by the hour, it seems. After we posted last night his intent to form an exploratory committee, the mainstream media seemed to catch on this morning.

The Manassas Journal-Messenger and Leesburg Today, among others, published articles. One of the prominent conservatives alluded to in the previous post as agreeing to serve on his steering committee is Sen. Ken Cuccinelli (R-37). More names will become public soon, perhaps to include more General Assembly Republicans, former Virginia GOP chair Pat McSweeney and 1993 Republican Lieutenant Governor nominee Mike Farris.

This race could get interesting.
