Obama Should Have Aborted This RhetoricApr 09, 2008
(Because of a technical malfunction that crashed this site on April 4, and took down every post and comment after March 14, the following has been re-posted. It was originally written April 2, 2008.) We have not commented much on the presidential campaign. Especially so on the Democrat side. Of course, so many people, including a ga-ga lefty mainstream media, have been enamored and "uplifted" by U.S. Senator Barack Obama's (D-IL) oratory, that certain media types (most notably on NBC and its little sister MSNBC) actually have said how they are rooting for him and have even gone so far as to call him "messianic."
Funny, then, how little coverage they gave to their "messiah" when Obama made this comment about abortion the other day at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania, when asked about preventing AIDS, as reported by UPI:
"I've got two daughters - 9 years old and 6 years old," Obama said. "I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. ... So it doesn't make sense to not give them information."
Great. In one sentence, Senator Obama is equating babies with STDs and believes his grandchild should be killed because it is a "punishment" to his daughter. Wonder if his daughters think they were punishments to him, or if he was a punishment to his single mother? Some "values" and "morals" lesson from the Democrat "savior."
