Pro-Life Movie Coming to Theaters Near YouFeb 28, 2012
“Powerful.” “Life-changing.” “Extraordinary.” “Emotional.”
Those are just some of the descriptions we heard at our recent hosting of a pre-showing of October Baby, a movie that will open in theaters near you March 23rd. October Baby is a movie about Hannah Lawson, a fairly average college student who learns that she was adopted into her family after a difficult birth … after a failed abortion attempt. The movie is a story of Hannah discovering who she is and the intrinsic value of life. Click on the picture below to view a trailer of this incredible film.
The Family Foundation hosted a special prescreening and it is not one to miss! It is Hollywood-quality acting and cinematography overlaid with the values of a biblical worldview. Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director for Students for Life of America writes, “October Baby is an incredible witness to the pro-life movement. Not only does it allow for healing and hope for those affected by abortion, it also sheds a positive and reaffirming light on adoption and portrays the adoption process as a positive alternative to the horrible injustice of abortion.” Mike Farris, Founder of HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) and Patrick Henry College comments, “A masterful production with impressive cinematography, October Baby has the potential to significantly impact the culture of life in America.”

Also, I hope you will consider sponsoring a screening through your youth group, church, or community group. For more information on how to book a screening, click here. The all-important opening weekend will determine just how long this potentially life-altering film will stay in theaters. October Baby’s producers will be donating 10% of their profits to the Every Life is Beautiful Fund which gives money to organizations helping women facing unplanned pregnancies, providing adoption and orphan care.
