We want to thank so many of you very much for being a passionate advocate for all human life. Regardless of the one sided reporting by the media, we are still excited at the success of last week's Virginia Stands for Life Gathering at the Capitol, because of many pro-lifers like you. As we informed those who attended the gathering, the pro-abortion advocates will be "rallying for choice," on Tuesday, January 22, at the Capitol Bell Tower to "protect reproductive rights in Virginia and celebrate the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade," from 10-11:30 a.m., then go inside the Capitol for commending resolutions in the galleries from 12:00-12:30 p.m.

A number of people who attended our rally last week responded to our thank you e-mail and expressed interest in returning to the Capitol to peacefully counter-protest on January 22. We wanted to let you know that we are organizing for that. We saw from our rally that only a few protesters make a difference in the media coverage. The battle is reaching a fever pitch and we cannot afford to be absent or silent or let up when the eyes and ears of most Virginians are more open and resonating with our life message than when we first began. We will provide hot chocolate and/or coffee and do encourage you to bring your signs.

We will meet inside the Capitol Building in House Room 2 at 9:00 a.m. for prayer and a short briefing. After their rally, we will also go into the House and Senate Galleries so that the legislators know that our voices for life also are represented. Please let us know that you're planning to be there, and also bring a like-minded friend. Many thanks for taking a stand for life!
