Where is the pro-life movement? How successful can we be? What successes have we had? Tonight, the 40 Days for Life campaign is hosting Beacon of Hope, a webcast and teleconference at 9:00. It's accessible via phone as well. To register for this special online event, click here. During the event, you'll discover:

* The stunning results you helped to accomplish during this spring's 40 Days for Life — the largest and most successful spring campaign ever;

* How one city's 12th 40 Days for Life campaign resulted in saved seven babies, two abortion workers quitting and one abortion center closing;

* What a first-time 40 Days for Life location did to expose abortions taking place at a medical building — without the owners' knowledge — getting the abortions stopped and the abortionist evicted;

* The breaking news of how a 63-year-old grandmother — who was assaulted while praying at 40 Days for Life outside a Planned Parenthood — used media coverage of her attack to prompt a state health department investigation into dangerous conditions at the abortion center, which then suspended abortions;

* The powerful story of one mom who chose life during a previous 40 Days for Life before becoming a volunteer and helping another mom in a similar situation choose life during this spring's campaign; and

* How you can help make a profound impact and stop abortion right where you live!

So, if you want to get a great view of the pro-life movement from those on the front lines, and what you can do to further the pro-life cause, please tune in to Beacon of Hope tonight.

By the way, here's a great sign of how things are changing and you do make an impact: Notice the use of the phrase "abortion center." That's something we started at The Family Foundation to help change the debate because "clinics" are where people go to get well. Now, because pro-life Virginians have pushed "center" into the lexicon of the debate, we see it now being used by national organizations using it and helping frame the issue. It's another way the pro-life movement is gaining traction.
