Christians are losing their rights and even their livelihoods because of their belief in God's design for marriage. Consider these recent events:

♦ Mozilla co-founder and CEO Brendan Eich was forced to resign because of his views in support of traditional marriage.

♦ Christian photographer Elane Huguenin was sued by a lesbian for refusing to photograph her private commitment ceremony with another lesbian. She was fined $7,000 by the New Mexico Human Rights Commission, a fine upheld by the New Mexico Supreme Court. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear her appeal.

♦ Former NFL running back Craig James was fired by Fox Sports because of his personal religious views on marriage.

♦ Oregon bakery owners Aaron and Melissa Klein had to close their retail shop and could face hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines because they refused to bake a cake for a same-sex "wedding."

Don't let our friends stand alone. Those who oppose God's design for marriage are very strategic, attacking those who disagree with them through a method they call "jamming" — the public smearing of Christians and traditional marriage supporters. They like to go after individuals and isolate them from "politically correct" society. This institutionalizing of anti-Christian bigotry will only get worse until we as the church rise up and say:

Enough is enough!

It's time to stand and speak up for marriage or forever hold your peace. Literally. Because if we don't act now, it may become too late to effectively act later.

The Virginia Marriage Amendment is being challenged in federal court. The original judge in Norfolk ruled in favor of the plaintiffs and against the amendment. The appeal will be heard at the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond on May 13. We need you there to stand with us in support of marriage between one man and one woman. Will you bring your friends, family and fellow church members to Richmond to Stand and Pray for Marriage?
