Saw the Planned Parenthood Videos? Time to Act.Aug 14, 2015
On Saturday August 22, a nationwide effort is being made to raise awareness of what goes on behind Planned Parenthood's doors. Across Virginia & in Washington, DC, life advocates will gather for peaceful protests outside six of Virginia’s Planned Parenthood abortion centers, to stand for every unborn child, uniquely created in His image. Please consider joining us! Below are the five protests across Virginia, but for more information, please visit www.protestpp.com. I’m sure you’ve seen or at least heard about the videos of the atrocities that take place in those facilities, not only in the practice of abortion but in the commercialization of unborn baby body parts. For years, the abortion industry has told our society that unborn lives have no value while directly profiting not only from the women who find themselves in a difficult situation but also from the sale of these unborn babies. After seeing those videos, one would hope the questions that arise are: "How can I help stop this practice? How can I turn our culture into a place that honors human life?" This is a large part of our mission at The Family Foundation. We've been working to expose the abortion industry for years and have helped pass laws to ensure that these facilities are inspected so that practices like these are stopped, women kept safe and ultimately lives are saved.
One way someone can take what they've seen and contribute to the national effort is to join us outside one of these Planned Parenthood facilities on Saturday August 22 from 9am-11am. With a short donation of one's time, we hope to keep the story in the eyes of the public while also urging the Governor to investigate the Virginia facilities. We are also asking him to remove from the Board of Health two members who are associated with Planned Parenthood: Wendy Klein who is a physician associated with the Richmond facility and Linda Hines a former Planned Parenthood board member. The Board of Health is tasked with determining what standards of care abortion centers are to meet.
I hope I’ll see you and your friends stand for life with us on August 22nd!
