Internships
The Family Foundation of Virginia is actively recruiting Graduate/College student interns for Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer in our Richmond Capitol Square office (dates are flexible).
Intern(s) assist staff in actively monitoring legislation, research and writing, special projects and publications, media outreach and contact, and development projects. Interns would also be involved in our ongoing efforts to communicate our hot issues to three areas of influence: the news media; the government; and citizens/families. Projects will be assigned according to the student's areas of interest and the current organizational need.
The candidate for this position should be available at least 10 hours per week. Both credit and non-credit internships are welcome. The optimal candidate for this position would be organized and self-motivated, able to work without constant supervision and have some skill in research and writing. The candidate must have a pro-life, pro-family perspective on social issues, and a Biblical world-view of the roles of politics, government and the church. Experience in collecting data and computer data entry would be helpful as well.
Interested students should contact Chris Freund, Vice President, at chris@familyfoundation.org.
