This Could Change Girls Sports in Virginia Forever

We have major news in the fight to protect fairness, safety, and dignity in women’s sports.

Thanks to the courageous stance of Virginia female athletes, like former Virginia Tech swimmer Réka György and Roanoke College swimmers Lily Mullens and Carter Satterfield, the Virginia Regulatory Townhall has announced their petition for a regulation through the Board of Health that would ensure only biological women can compete in female sports and use female-only spaces in any public or private school and at the collegiate level.

Now, the petition is open for public comment, which lasts from May 5 through May 26.  Whether or not this request for regulatory action is approved depends in large part to the voices of female athletes, parents and concerned citizens.

This regulatory action would be a vital step toward restoring fairness in competition and preserving the privacy and safety of women and girls. But we need to act fast. The opposition has already begun to flood the comment section, so we must overwhelm the comments.
