Executive Assistant to the President

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to the President to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of the President’s office, providing top-tier administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. You’ll act as a key liaison between the President and both internal and external stakeholders, helping to drive efficiency and alignment across the organization.

Director of Community Engagement
Location: Richmond, Virginia (In-Person)
Want to help lead statewide efforts to equip Christians to have a voice on life, family and freedom issues--all the way from the local county to the state capitol? The Family Foundation of Virginia (familyfoundation.org) is seeking a Director of Community Engagement to join our team. Based out of Richmond, Va., this position reports to the Vice President of Grassroots and Communications Strategies and is responsible for implementing the VP’s strategic vision by leading and maintaining a grassroots activist network—mainly through our Speak Up! Virginia initiative, regional “Speak Up!” teams, and other issue-specific statewide campaigns designed to empower local citizens. This role is crucial to reaching the Family Foundation’s goal of equipping citizens throughout our Commonwealth to advocate for policies that reflect biblical principles and help families thrive. Overall, this role is a combination of relationship building, logistical management and communications/administration.

Government Relations Specialist
Location: Richmond, Virginia (In-Person)
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Government Relations Specialist to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you’ll support the VP of Government Relations in advancing The Family Foundation’s legislative agenda and strengthening our influence at the Capitol. From analyzing policy and drafting legislation to building relationships with elected officials and coordinating voter transparency tools, you’ll play a key part in shaping public policy that reflects pro-family values in Virginia.
During the legislative session, you’ll also serve as a registered lobbyist, assisting with lobbying efforts, tracking bills, and ensuring our team remains agile and effective in a fast-moving environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Virginia politics while working just two blocks from the Capitol.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and passionate about advancing the pro-family movement through principled policy work.
