The Left’s New Word for Marriage? You Won’t Believe It.
Have you ever read a headline so absurd, it felt like a giant neon sign flashing “Culture in Crisis”?
This week, a new study circulated in the media tried to explain why same-sex couples have fewer children than—get this—"different-sex couples." Yes, that’s the new term some are using instead of “husband and wife” or even just “married couples.”
Let’s pause there.
Apparently, “birthing people” wasn’t confusing enough—now we’re redefining marriage itself with bizarre new language. “Different-sex couples”? What happened to simply saying “men and women who are married”? It's as if, in an effort to normalize the abnormal, the basics of biology must now be linguistically blurred.
The Obvious Stated as Scientific Revelation
But the absurdity doesn't stop with language. This study actually cited the lack of “needed parts”—as in basic biological anatomy—as the reason same-sex couples tend to have fewer children.
Do we really need research dollars to figure this out?
This is what happens when we detach ourselves from truth. Redefine reality, and soon you’re forced to invent strange new terms and commission studies to prove what’s always been obvious. Biology still wins—even if the culture tries to pretend otherwise.
But There’s Good News, Too
In the midst of this confusion, truth is still breaking through—and victories are being won.
Just recently, our Founding Freedoms Law Center secured a major legal victory: Christian counselors in Virginia are now free to offer Biblical guidance to minors struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion. This is a critical win for freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the rights of parents and children to pursue the help they need.
But the fight is far from over.
Radical activists are now attempting to enshrine transgender ideology into Virginia’s Constitution—a move that would not only undermine parental rights but also crush religious liberty and conscience protections across the state.
