DID YOU KNOW…

Recent studies show that when considering the seven cornerstone beliefs of a biblical worldview, “the younger the adult is, the less likely they are to embrace all seven of the cornerstones.” Only 1% of adults 18-29 agree with all 7. And only 10% accept four, five, or six of the seven.

When you put these young adults in a culture that bombards them with messages contrary to a biblical worldview, they are left without a compass.

This is why we launched Equip Worldview Academy.

The Family Foundation eight-week EQUIP Worldview Academy is designed to create a community for students eager to learn how a biblical worldview equips them with the tools they need to navigate an ever-changing culture. Built on intentional reading assignments and thought-provoking conversation, this class will prepare students to engage with the current culture with purpose and impact around six essential worldview questions:

Who am I?  Where do I come from?  Where am I going? What is my purpose? What do I value? What is Truth?

The Details:

  • EQUIP meets every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm in person during the months of June and July.*

2024… Equip Worldview for Parents and Grandparents!

We are excited for our second year of Equip Parents, a weekly class for parents and grandparents who want to be prepared to walk alongside the kids in their lives. This class is hosted in Richmond, Virginia.

Equip Parents uses a modified Equip Worldview Academy curriculum that takes the weekly content for students a few steps deeper. Not only will the adult class walk through similar readings as Equip Worldview Academy students, but they will also receive additional preparation to help them bring these conversations back into their home. Groups will meet Wednesday evenings in June and July on the same days as Equip Worldview Academy for students.

This course is designed to function like a small group for parents and grandparents. Where deep conversations on biblical worldview and parenting your children meets accountability group, this class is a place to sit down over a cup of coffee, open up, form friendships, and get equipped. Due to the conversation based format, no online version will be available and registration opportunities are limited.
